Some Kind of Fruity Drink

"Some Kind of Fruity Drink" 7"x5" watercolor

I'm not going to say this too loud but I think I'm getting the hang of these smaller paintings. . . . I think it's all about appropriate scale of subject matter and size of image. I will keep at it because It's nice to be able to finish a painting in a day including interruptions! Stay tuned!

Beautiful, Pablo, and creative, too. I really like the portrait study, too. It is fun to do smaller and finish quickly - of course, I'm on the opposite side now and am trying to paint bigger all the time - I think we all move back and forth.

How could you not get the hang? You're a master and this is charming.

Love it! I know exactly what you mean about smaller paintings, it's definitely nice to be able to finish a painting in one session. Plus I like the intimacy and jewel like quality of smaller work, especially this one!
