No Name Frog

No Name Frog 8"x10" watercolor

Summer is in full swing here, lots of kids around so I've been working on these little ones, you never know when a stray ball will hit you in the head or land in your water container! I'm not sure I have the hang of small yet but I'm working on it! I hope everyone is enjoying the summer weather and able to get outside a little.

Pablo,

Nice work all theay around, I think its neat that you paint something comical/lighthearted to break up working so intense doing the portrait work.

I'm just the opposite I have to do a serious piece every once in awhile to get away from the comical stuff I do.

Always great work.

Sincerely,
Paul

Thank you Paul, it's nice when someone with totally different style or asthetic appreciates your work.

Hi Micah! Thank you! Keep painting anyway! sometimes that's exactly what you need to stay grounded.

Pablo,
I appreciate your work!!! I love all kinds of art and subject matter my only requirements are they are done exceptionaly well and that the artist has something to say.

You are speaking very eloquent.
Theres nothing not to like about your style!!

Hey Mr. Mom....hope the summer is going well! Am taking a portrait class by a guy here in York who does some pretty sweet work I admire. Will be taking 2 portraits I have halfway done and will let him citique them. Maybe get some good pointers on how to finish them. Fresh ideas are always a lot of fun and beneficial :)

Thank you for visiting again Paul!

Hi Micah, I'm glad you're doing some portraits! I still find painting them challenging and ultimatley the most satisfying.
