"Life Lessons"

"Life Lessons"  18" x 24" Watercolor

Because at some point in your life, you're just going to have to learn to float!

This painting was pretty tricky, never having painted sparkly water let alone submerged/floating people before it created another one of those "what was I thinking" moments.

I think my thought process was something like this.  .  What a great image!  I should paint that!, well, maybe not, it looks kinda hard, but then again, it would be a great painting, oh I don't know, I've never done anything like it before, well what better way to learn!, Ok, I'll try it!, I think . . .  maybe after I do some easier paintings. . .oh, I'll just go for it! Ok I'll do it . . wait,
I'd better stock up on chocolate. . . yeah, chocolate will make this easier.  ;0)
