Yellow Hammer

SOLD

This little one is pure light, loving, creative, sensitive and at the same time, rough and tumble. His hero is Legolas, and favorite color is yellow. He fills my heart with his observations and questions about heaven and angels, telling me how he was looking around at everyone while he was up in the sky before coming down to be with his mom and I, and makes me laugh with his made up jokes and pirate smile.

this is again a lovely painting Pablo. So now you must tell us the story of Legolas. I love your work!

Beautiful, Pablo. I love the cool reflected light in the shadows of the face.

It is so wonderful that he can remember being in heaven before being born. He must be a very special little guy! There's immense life in your painting, too.

Hi Pablo,
I love the tilt of Legolas' head - he looks so brave and full of pride even though he is young. The light in his eyes is wonderful - a warrior I think!

Thank you for your kind comments! This one is so personal, wasn't sure I'd post it but isn't that what art is about? from the heart.
Ah yes, "Lego my Lego" as Eric says, he loves Legolas, he shows me his "Legolas Moves" all the time jumping around and using his pretend bow and arrows.
Thank you again for visiting and leaving such encouraging feedback. . . . .
more to come, have been working on several very involved and detailed still lifes and some more portraits. Can't wait to show you!
