Peeps Challenge!

"Me and My Peeps" 5"x7" watercolor by Me SOLD

"What did you expect from marshmallow eggs?" 6" x 8" Watercolor by Chris Beck

"Late Bloomer" - 6" x 6" oil on cradled hardboard panel by Jelaine Faunce
IT'S REVENGE OF THE PEEPS! that was my first choice of titles for my painting which is actually the second one I did for this challenge, I had a mishap on the first one, serves me right for calling them yellow belly marshmallows! (the other title being "one of these things is not like the others")
Actually, this his was pure bliss. . . not only did I get to do a challenge with two of my favorite artists (my peeps) but I got to work with candy! I'm always amazed and so pleasantly surprised when I get the images sent to me, such wonderful takes on the challenge theme and this was no exception, these paintings make me happy!

I was so pooped when I finally got around to posting that I didn't fully enjoy all the neat little details in your painting -- love the string used to tie the beak on the bunny and the look of total innocence on his face!! Totally inspired!!

Each one of you has taken this challenge and given us such joyful paintings - laugh out loud funny and clever titles and paintings - what more could we ask! Glad you had fun doing it..can't imagine where you got such a tiny little beak for that middle imposter! ha ha

Thank you Nancy, Micah, Chris, Jeanette, Desiree, and Rhonda! I haven't been logged in for a while! phew!
Well, it was great fun! I don't have a handle on small paintings at all! clearly cause I totally destroyed the first version!
And yes, it was funny watching myself trying to tie that darn beak on! I made it out of the kid's construction paper and yarn. . . I had so many titles running through my head for this one! "No body here but us peeps!"
Thanks again everyone! I'm looking forward to future challenges! eh hem. . .Chris! ;0)
